Mob Marking in raids- How do you use nUI for this?

Hello!

I cannot find the option that allows me to mark mobs( lucky charms marks) using nUI. being the OT for a 25 man Ulda this is becoming a strong necessity. Normally when the mob is targetted it allows me a list of option such as set focus or mark mob but I no longer have that option when using nUI.

I have recently started using nUI since I just updated my Gaming System and was starting with a clean slate of addons and found nUI seemed to be one of the better ones.

Could you please explain where I can find this option or an addon that is compatible with nUI so I do not have to start over again.

Two ways...

First... right click the unit frame of the mob you want to mark and there's a menu option there to choose which mark to use.

Second... use the key bindings to set a key for each mark.

I do plan to add a LuckyCharms style feature in the unit frames that you can use to set target marks... it's already on the to-do list.

uuum.. yeah.

I know how to right click on the unit frame and use that option. I didn't state that but it was implied since I said the menu no longer shows up.

What my issue is , is that changing to nUI I now no longer have that option.

Since from your reply refers to how you mark targets in Wow using the standard UI, I am inferring that nUI should not be affecting the Wow Frame interface.

I'll check and see if another add-on may be interfering.

If the right click option is not working on the unit frames, then there's another mod that's interfering... it's not nUI. This is a topic that has been coming up a *lot* on the official WoW UI forum but I can't remember which mods have been identified as being the causes of the problem.

Perhaps some of the other nUI users will remember?

As for anything being implied in your question, you have to understand the type, frequency and nature of the questions I get asked. If it isn't stated in the question, I have to assume that it is unknown, otherwise I end up in a chain of messages back and forth. Honestly, you would be amazed the things one would normally take for granted as "common knowledge" that a *lot* of players have no clue about.

Had you phrased the question "When I right click the unit frame, I don't get a menu, how do I set marks on my targets?" you would have gotten a different answer than "I cannot find the option that allows me to mark mobs... Could you please explain where I can find this option?"

Several addons have been reported for this issue (XPerl, UF, Cartographer, Clique and some others I can't remember), but it's been quite some time. I believe most of the addon authors that had this issue with their addon have already updated to fix the problem.

In other words, be sure that all of your addons that have anything to do with right click have been updated.
