Question
I was wondering if there was a command or something that I could use to call a function when I hold Alt and click on an item link in the chat or on a loot item.
Basically, I am using webDKP to take bids for my guild, but it's a hassle to open the bidding window and type in the item name. Instead, I want to be able to press Alt and click on an item and then it will automatically open up the bidding window and populate the item field.
The only part I need help with is registering the window open even with the Alt+Click action.
I am VERY new to programming wow interfaces, but I'm a programmer by profession so I should get anything you explain. Thanks for the help in advance.
P.S. Also, how do I build a link to display in chat to an item?
