portraits don't show up

Hey. I've been having this issue for a while now and nothing seems to fix it. My player (and sometimes party) portraits never show up, no black box or anything, just nonexistent. Any solution?

Tried 2d pictures, that didn't fix it.

Can you attach a screenshot in case something else is happening that is stopping the images from displaying.

So when you use the '/nui anim' command you don't get a portrait there either?

I just want to eliminate the possibility it's bad configuration data or a conflict with another mod.
