Gloss Black Dashboard Skin

Greetings,

I downloaded the latest Gloss Black Dashboard Skin, but in game it's stating it's out of date and won't load it. Any suggestions?

Did you tick the box to load out of date addons? For the most part all out of date means is that the TOC file hasn't been updated to use the new API functions. Some addons will work fine without that change needing to be made.

Hmm... I did update the Gloss Black and it *should* be working without using the load out of date addons option.

Try this...

1. exit WoW
2. go to the [World of Warcraft > Interface > AddOns] folder
3. delete the [nUI_GlossBlack] folder
4. Log in to WoW and click the "AddOns" button at the character selection screen
5. Is nUI_GlossBlack still listed? If so, you are in the wrong [World of Warcraft] folder... go back to step 1
6. If it is not, then exit WoW again
7. Unzip the nUI_GlossBlack_1.02.01.zip file into your [Interface > AddOns] folder
8. Log back into WoW
9. Click the "AddOns" button at the character selection screen
10. Make sure the "nUI_GlossBlack" option is enabled
11. Close the window and enter the world on any toon

Is it working now?

Thanks for the responses. I followed your instructions, and it still shows out of date. Ironically, I dl'ed the Stone skin, and that works good. No out of date message. I did check the load out of date addons, and am able to use it.

That's because there is a little error in the nUI_GlossBlack.toc file.
Open it up in a text editor and change the first line
from:
## Interface: 30300
to:
## Interface: 40000

Save it, then restart wow, and your addon will be fine.
