Either turn off class-coloring on raid frames or on the name text, imo. Having both is 1) repetetive, and 2) difficult to read.

yeh , i actually used too have the raidframe text white i just forgot too change it when playing around. :P

nothing fancy but i like it so far, though i'm not really content with the raid frames. i'm using the blizzard tot and the blizzard target buff frame, because i like the way the buffs and debuffs wrap around the tot and their looks and .. everything. i've yet to find a sexier target buff frame. blizzard pet frame is still there, because my custom pet frames are ****. always.

it's a little cluttered, because i suck and need everything LARGE.

If you enable the option to consolidate buffs, you will hide a lot of that buff mess you have there.

Okay, here's my most recent rearrangement and UF setup. I think it's much better than the last, ohhh, 4 or 5.

Addons are the usual suspects:
kgPanels, StUF, Dominos, Fortress, Chinchilla, Quartz (not visible), Autobar, Skada, Satrina Buff Frames, MSBT, Utopia, Reputation Bars, MonkeyQuest, Tidy Plates with "AAAGH MY EYES!" theme.

Main Font: SF New Republic (Not using this font - MonkeyQuest, Reputation Bars, Crits in MSBT)
Main Bar Texture: HalK (Not using it - Reputation Bars, SBF timer bars on buffs/debuffs)
Border Texture: Square Outline

Still to be done:
1) Make MSBT fit in better
2) Make Reputation Bars fit in better
3) Make Utopia fit in better

My current WIP UI, heavily inspired by Tukui, which while I liked the look of, I have no LUA programming knowledge so I couldn't figure out how to customise.

Same layout for healing tanking or dpsing. Only difference is raid frames get smaller and move to b/t the player and target frames with more "grid-like" features to the raid frame... like aura indicators, debuffs icons, aggro icons.

My new (heavy) work in progress:



Base layout by ALZA. I won't be keeping it, I was just testing his UI before I started making my own. Ignore the buffs, need to find a nice and small buff addon that works with rActionButtonStyler.

Some explaining. The vertical unit frame is of course the target frame. Status bar is colored by reaction/class and name text is colored by difficulty. A health threshold colored text with health percentage appears when unit is below 100% health. Castbar mimics the player castbar, only vertical. An iThreat appears to the right of the target frame, symmetrical with the target power bar.

The small actionbar to the left of the target frame is for important dps spells, as well as important debuffs on the target. When the target is affected by one of my debuffs (e.g. Serpent Sting), the corresponding action button will be colored with an appropriate color as long as the debuff is active. In the screenshot, you can see my target is affected by Black Arrow (the Black Aroow action button is purple), Serpent Sting and Hunter's Mark (the icon for it is in the two action bars below player frame). This actionbar is hidden when I'm not targeting a hostile unit.

Below my character I have the player frame, pet frame and the focus frame, which appears next to the pet frame and is identical to it. Player frame will display a blue colored mana percentage text and a health threshold colored health percentage text to the left only when I'm at less than 100%. Similar health% text appears for the petframe. Party frames spawn in the upper-left corner, as well as raid frames which I haven't done yet. ToT frame is below the target and the actionbar next to it, same width as the two combined, horizontal orientation.

It's still mostly a WiP, and I will slowly replace ALZA's code with my preferred addons, but so far I quite like the layout. It's functional, it doesn't take up too much space while at the same time providing me with all the info I need.

Of course, C&C is always appreciated.

I'd move the player buffs a bit higher to have the space between the buffs and minimap the same as between the minimap and the edge of the screen.

I really love the idea with your rotation lining up with the vertical target frame :P I'm leveling a hunter at the moment, and that would totally come in handy

Overall very crisp and clean, I love it!

ive recently changed different addons, so here is the new so far.
i always change.
short desc: colors change on class the 100 is your power, on hover it shows your hp, pet bar, 100 is his power and hover is his hp, the "2" is his happyness
the red is whats been taken away (so i was attacked). dont remember the right word. i brank my ui scale up due to the frames would be pixel perfect.

I use this setup for pretty much every toon I have, whether it's Tank, Healing, or DPS. I find it to be a good layout, and using the same setup helps with switching roles. I still look in the same spot to see info, no matter what my role happens to be.
