nUI Display broken when switching windows or logging in/out

Hi, I have nUI Pro installed. I've noticed that when I logout and switch to a different character, when nUI loads back up, its display graphics break, turning the whole UI white. I have to use /nui rl to restore the display. This also happens if I ALT-TAB to my Windows Desktop. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks for your advice!

I only get that effect when I alt tab during the log in process. I suspect alt tabbing while switching characters and thus another log in process it gets confused as to what its drawing.

This effect also happens when you change UI scale in the options menu. In this case the game doesn't think it needs an automatic reload like when you change resolutions or toggle the ui scale option box. In the latter cases it does do an automatic reload.

Unfortunately there is no programmatic way of knowing when that scale slider is adjusted and thus cannot program in a reload ( I tried several times

) and I suspect knowing that you have alt tabbed in and out of game is similarly afflicted.

It might be all due to the fact that addons are loaded up at a different stage to the default UI and thus may hit that unknown time span where it gets confused and cannot set things up properly.

Thank you. I've followed the advice in the FAQ and it helps. Hopefully Blizz will fix this annoying display bug in the next patch.

Don't get your hopes up on that one -- that bug has been around for at least three years now. It may be four.
