is there any mod to hide the sun in the normal wow ui?
also is there an addon that lets u move the blizz tooltips location/size?

Any MiniMap mod will nuke that sun. vMiniMap (nice tiny mod) Squeenix, or SimpleMiniMap (very configurable), RicoMiniMap

To simply move the ToolTips use LitheToolTip doctor. This is a small mod to simply move the anchor of your ToolTips to wherever you want. For more tweakable ToolTip look at TinyTip or my favorite CowTip.
