fps loss with world map open

ok ive narrowed it down it carbonite either not liking gatherer or gatherer not liking carbonite. anytime i open my world map and hover over a different area than the one im in i get a huge FPS loss. ive disabled all addons and thats how i came to the conclusion its gather and carb not liking each other. i posted on gatherer site no answers, figured id try here and see if any of you got any ideas.
