Looking for an Addon. Hard to define.

Hi,

I'm browsing through the AddOns section fo a while now, but was unable to find the right one.

In general, what i'm looking for is an Addon that makes my Char say (meaning posting a message in the /say channel) whenever i use a skill, do a crit, make a deathblow and other things like that.
that alone could more or less be done with simple macros.

the 2 things making it difficult are the following:
first i would like the sentence shown to alter.
and second i don't want a sentence to show up every single time (more for the reason to not be called a spammer than my personal likings)

if such an addons already exists or this is the wrong section to post this request please don't hesitate to blame me.

That's the one I was just looking for. A "RP-helper" would be my suggestion. Otherwise you'd have to rely on macros but there is no "say random text" option . Unless you are on a RP server, I'm willing to bet that people won't appreciate spams from a combat log though.

RPhelper2 seems to be out of date. many things don't work right. like active racial skills.

i think i will go with sequi after the last two are quite difficult to configurate for me.


but if there will ever be a new version of RPhelper2 i switch to it because it is much easier to use.

there is also "battlecry". i seem to remember it receiving an update post the WoW 2.3 patch (though i could be wrong).

I can't remember if Battlecry was updated or not, but I use it and it still works.

The author of AnnoyRP has discontinued that addon and has created ChatterBox to replace it.

However, if you want something simple to use, I'd suggest Skroms Quote Generator. It hasn't been updated in a while, but I'm fairly certain it still works.
