map lag?

hi i am new here and i did a search to try to find something on this but i could not find everything on it. well here goes nothing! ... when the beta of CB (carbonite) came out i got it and now when i open my game up and go to my map and put my mouse over a place on it, it will lag my game for 2 sec and if i move over a other part samething will happend 2-3 sec lag. this has never happend before and i wanted to know if there is a fix for it! i will give u the spec for my computer! so u can see it cant be the computer that gives off this lag

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 960 @ 3.20GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Card name: ATI Radeon HD 5900 Series
Ram: 12g DDR3


i tryed to turn on some other addons to see if it was that and still no luck
and just for the hell of it i am going to put the banna!!!

Some lag is normal the first time each map zone is displayed since the game has to load the overlay and minimap art for each zone. The lag can vary a lot based on what WoW is doing and your programs/OS is doing. It is normally about .5 secs, but I have seen it spike to several seconds occasionally.
