This happens learning the new spell, or putting the new spell you learned on your action bar or learning a new rank for a spell already on your action bar?

No... that was a question... did it happen to you the moment you learned the new spell, or when you put the new spell on the action bar? Were you learning a higher rank for a spell, or a brand new spell altogether?

Got the same error message when learning new level spels (Priest in Stormwind):

It was for Learning Power Word: Shield. I had this in a macro in my action bar:

/cast [target=player] Power Word: Shield

It was on my action bar (Key Binding 4).

The other higher level spells did not give this error, only the one I had on a macro.

Using the new DL nUI-5.03.06
My error was a bit different from that posted above but pertained to the same basic issue except I was not learning a new spell, I was mounting a "RIDING" quest mount at the tourny grounds in IC.
The error I received was Interface\addons\nUI\bars\nUI_Button.lua:310 GetSpellName(): Invalid spell slot
