For anyone having issuses with the chat frame
So another patch is upon us and blizz picking and choosing what to break =P
upon loading out of date addons and logging in my chat interface had it's orange error msg and nothing else.... and this is how i fixed it
read that error msg
look for the addon name that is causing you not to get any other chat msgs.
log out and disable that addon (if you use the addon control panel<yet another addon> go through that to disable and just reload the ui) and go back into the game....
if problem is still there go through the addons the error msg lists, disable them and you should be good to go from there....
I use way more addons then a person should ( i luv my fluff ).... with that being said the only addon that gave me a problem was....
Gearscore.... nice addon, but morons w/2.4k gs starting raids req over 9000gs distorted it for all...
once i disabled it all was good again =)
