Minimap Question

Forgive me if this has been requested in the past. I did a search but I did not find the answer I was looking for. I know you have the option to put the default minimap into the Carbonite map, or you can use the default minimap. However, when you choose to use the default minimap or another minimap addon like Chinchilla or Sexymap you have the small version of the Carbonite map (minimized version) on the screen as well. In the past I have set the transparency to the lowest setting for the minimized version of Carbonite in an effort to hide the small map and just used Carbonite for the world map. Is there a way to hide the small version of the map? But keep the Carbonite map to replace the world map... If not, could this be implemented?
