Exploring

I'm not sure what changed. When exploring zones, the unexplored zones would be shadowed so they would be easier to find on the map. Now all the zones show clearly and its hard to see which zones are unexplored. I had a wierd bug after the patch and had to reinstall all my addons. I can't figure this one out.

Check the options. There's one that "unhides" unexplored areas, though iirc it's worded a bit confusedly. Anyway, it's a checkbox in there somewhere, find it and toggle it and see if that makes a difference.

This problem, and the exact wording of the checkbox, have been discussed in a thread here. You could try searching the forums.

It should be right click map -> Show -> Unexplored locations.

I also have the same problem no matter which way the ck box is clicked, no shaded areas for unexplored. Used to work previously.

Disabled all addons, then added one at a time. Found the Zygor Guides as the one cause the Unexplored shading issue. Have found an option to uncheck in Zygor guides, Review map needs to be uncheck.

IME the top five reasons for this kind of problem are:

1. An incorrect setting somewhere.
2. A conflict with another addon.
3. A corrupted SavedVariables file.
4. A bug in the addon code.
5. Blizzard broke something.

Those last two are far behind the first three, and often closely related.

Its not the checkbox. And I havent added any addons that I wasnt playing with before. It seems to have stopped working with the latest patch. I will experiment some this week and see if any other addons are conflicting.
