5.03.06 cooldown bug

i updated the nUI this morning and im getting a bug that when i use any of my actions it puts a cooldown on it and it dont have a cooldown on it.

Are they skills that do dot's? If so read the patch notes as the action bars now track them for you

What color is the counter? Do you have a target when the counter is displayed, or no target? What spell is it that the counter is appearing on?

What action is on the button in question ? May shed some light on the subject. Also, is it possible the target was debuffed with the same spell by someone else ?

i think it might be something new becuz i was raiding and i used my priest and the fort buff was active and it said it was on a 60m CD so i think it is on a buff or debuff.
which is kinda confusing but it will be something useful during raids not to spam something like REND that wont go on more then once.

Ah, yeah thats the new debuff/buff timer that was added for us dotters

Nothing to worry about but I can understand it was a shock to you when you didn't expect it.

Yeah -- it was explained in detail in the patch notes (which nobody ever reads ~lol~)

Added HOT and DOT timers to the action bars. Cooldowns are now displayed in yellow until the last 10 seconds of the cooldown, then the become red, as before. However, regardless of whether or not there's a cooldown on the action, if the spell associated with the action button is active on the current target, the time remaining before the spell expires is displayed in bright blue (cyan) counting down to zero.

So... the 60m you're seeing is not a cooldown. Note that it is in blue (cyan) which means that's how much longer the aura will be on your current target before it expires. It's not a cooldown counter, it's a HOT/DOT timer.

For example, if you cast a renew on your tank, you'll be able to see right on the action bar how much longer before it expires so you don't recast it until you have to and so you know when it isn't present on the tank.

Yea im loving that mod on it, just gets kinda confusing while using things like mortal strike but also it helps if u know when the CD's burn off of the move,like when u use it and its on CD its grey'd out and when its ready for use its colored in.

I found a couple bugs related to cooldowns.

1. My pallies Avenger's Shield has a 30 sec cooldown. Immediately after using it the button counts down starting at 10 then once it reaches zero it restarts at 20 sec.

2. When using greater blessings in raid, occasionally a 30 min cooldown shows over the button even though I can still use it.

read all the posts before yours its a new feature the times your seeing in blue are hots dots durations and buff durations for your targets

thats what I get for skimming over a post.......the mixture of the spells effect and cd timer through me for a loop.
