:S now THIS I call a problem

ok, so I logged into WoW today, I've been using nUI for a few days and it's been wonderful, but this time....

My minimap took over the whole screen, I tried disabling it, reloading UI and relogging, it only got worse....



Nothing seems to get rid of this bar disabling nUI entirely

EDIT: completely stripped and re-instaled nUI+ this is the result!

oh wow, the bottom screen I have seen before but the top one .. that is weird.

What has changed since the last time it worked for you ? Any new addons, updated addons ? New install of wow etc.

No changes at all, I logged out to go and do some housework, came back, logged in and it's not been right since

What happens if you log in with no addons at all?

with absolutely no addons, it's back to the normal wow interface and game works fine, with just nUI+ I get the same problem, minimap taking over the whole screen. I've tried setting it so that nUI doesn't handle the minimap, when I do that I get the same problem as in the first image :S

Did you try nUI6 also? If so, did you install it separately so you have an nUI6 and nUI folders in your Addons folder? If you don't have an nUI6 folder but you know you installed it, I recommend deleting your nUI folder and reinstalling just nUI for now (not nUI6) and see how it looks.

The latest patch of WoW caused a variety of problems for many addons and this was a list of instructions Scott had people try so he'd know everything was truly clean.

If you would...

1. Exit WoW
2. Go to your [ World of Warcraft ] directory and rename [ WTF ] to [ WTF.saved] and [ Interface ] to [ Interface.saved ]
3. Log in to WoW, do you have an "AddOns" button at the character select screen? If so, go back to step 1
4. Enter the world on any character... everything is okay, yes?
5. Exit WoW again
6. Install nUI+ 5.06.29 and *nothing* else
7. Log in to WoW and enter the world

Does it work now? if not, please send a screen shot taken immediately after entering the world. Otherwise, if all is well again, start installing your other mods one and a time. Log in to WoW after each one to make sure it has not broken the interface. If it has, we'll know which mod caused it.

to be honest, I really liked nUI, it had everything I needed and reduced my addon memory by a ton, but A) I don't want to go through all the uninstall / re-install stuff, I've got time for my family, and time for wow, I don't want to reduce my time for wow with figuring out what's gone wrong with my ui.

I've moved over to LUI instead.

nUI is great, but I just don't want the hassle of it mucking up, etc etc.
