Action Page 2 + meta lock

As an Unholy lock I only have one question atm.
Is there any way to have Action Page 2 automaticaly come up in place of Action Page 1, when I change into meta "STANCE" & then have it change back to Action Page 1 when meta fades? That would enable the bar & let me use those slots without having to use different keybindings.
I have tried to make a macro to do that but I don't know too much about making a macro so I cant get it to work.

Great UI, ty

Actually I do have another question, lol, I'm using X-Perl along with nUI, do I need to use both?
Without X-Perl I dont get any Party or raid frames.

TY, again

That is a feature that, for whatever reason, is not supported directly by Blizzard's action bar engine which nUI leverages for it's own use in order to remain as compatible as possible with Blizzard's changes and other mods... the same is true for Shadow Priests.

You can, however, just press shift-2 to switch to action bar 2 and it will still use the same key bindings that are used in action bar page 1.

No... you do not need x-perl and you should not be using it. nUI already has party frames built in and, in fact, nUI+ has frames for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 40 man raids as well.

There's a red button below the bottom right corner of the chat frame that says "Player" -- click that to change unit frame modes. Also, the slash command '/nui autogroup' can be used to toggle the automatic switching between unit frame panels when you join/leave a party or raid.

Thanks for that information, I didn’t know that feature was there, & X-Perl is gone along with ForteXorcist now that the cooldowns are on the buttons
Do you have a list of all the features that are built into nUI? I might be able to get rid of a few more.

As to using shift 2 to change the Action Page, I find that to be slightly difficult as I’m a bit arthritic & doing that under combat conditions just takes to long, so if there isn’t a macro that would do that then I’ll just have to keep using my current keybinds.

Thanks again

You really should always have your main action bar on page 1... the metamorphasis does not to the best of my recollection from the test server (my lock isn't spec'd out to metamorphasis) disable any of the spells you can already cast, it just adds abilities. So put them on another action bar and key bind them specifically.

That's really part of why nUI has so many action bars, so you can get all of your spells on them and either clikc or key-bind them as you see fit. I know that is particularly important for locks as (imo) they're one of the most complicated and challenging classes to play with so many spells, a pet and their various abilities, etc.

As for all of the features... wow... I woudn't know what to start on answering that, nUI's grown so much I'm not sure I even remember them all. ~lol~

My advice is always to start with a clean install of just nUI and see "what's missing" for your play style. When you find something "missing" then post here and ask if it is something you are just overlooking or if anyone can suggest the best mod to use for that purpose.

Check out the install notes here... http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=21716

I can confirm that during metamorphosis you can use general spells. Since reading up on the class over the weekend ready for my 80 ness in a week or two I have found that meta is used often in some of the demonology specs.
