2 maps

when i bring up the world map it brings up two different maps the normal map and another map which is zoomed in in more detail and im wondering how to get rid of it so i just have a normal carbonite world map

Sounds like you have the minimap docked inside the carb map. If so, check the minimap options. (If what you're getting is two separate windows, it's something else).
