I dont understand whats going on here. Is the original Carbonite team working on their addon or is it all up to Rythal? I just read the first post Rythal made and it said the original team is woking on their project. Is this accurate? How soon can we expect an update?

The original Carbonite developers and Rythal are in discussion about that very thing.

Meanwhile, you can install the latest Carbonite from HERE, or HERE, or even HERE (it doesn't matter which version of Carbonite you patch, and this one is older), then go to HERE to get the patch for it.

Please remember: Download the patch and simply unzip it to your "\Interface\AddOns\" folder and allow it to overwrite your current Carbonite files.

NOTE: If you are patching the current version from Curse.com, you will have to make sure the "Load Out Of Date AddOns" option is checked in your "AddOns" window on your character selection screen. This is because the Carbonite version currently hosted on Curse.com is still the Cataclysm version and the patch ONLY updates the main Carbonite folder, so Carbonites other three modules are still out of date. Sorry.

I'v done all that, just wanted to know what was going on. Just having some issues where Carbonite is not able to track a lot of quests so i have to have use the default map (when i push m) so i have some idea of where to go. Also a lot of the grinding quests are not giving me a zone area of where to find the resource/mob i need to farm (hope you know what i am talking about here).

Anyway i am managing. Thanks for the hard work and i am sure something will get done in good time.

Just looked at the Carbonite Source Code, man this is how it should have been released in the first place.

@Rythal keep it this way.

No fear there... I was also very delightfully surprised when I saw it.

Should be alot easier to fix all the bugs, perhaps even Carbonite 2.0?
