Unhappy lockup in new areas/dungeons

Had wow freezing up in Zul'Gurub...and the new "Help Thrall" battles.
Had to disable Carbonite to proceed. Didnt have lua errors turned on but on logging in tonight enabled this and received the following error message.

Message: Interface\AddOns\Carbonite\Carbonite.lua:9731: bad argument #1 to 'band' (number expected, got nil)
Time: 07/03/11 22:32:06
Count: 14
Stack: [C]: in function `band'
Interface\AddOns\Carbonite\Carbonite.lua:9731: in function <Interface\AddOns\Carbonite\Carbonite.lua:9663>

Locals: (*temporary) = nil
(*temporary) = 1
(*temporary) = "number expected, got nil"

will try the "Thrall Battles with another character with lua error reporting enabled and see what shows.
Lost without carbonite

Ok went to first Thrall quest battle and got wow message saying addon(s) were causing game to slow down. got this lua error message:

If by "Help Thrall" you mean the quest line where you have to go to each elemental plane and fight off elementals, ending finally in Mt. Hyjal with Thrall's marriage to Aggra, I did that line a few days ago, with Carbonite enabled, and had no problems. Are you sure you have the latest version? Have you tried disabling all other addons to see if there's a conflict? Have you tried moving or deleting the carbonite.lua and carbonite.lua.bak files from your SavedVariables folder? If you've tried all that and still have a problem, I'd suggest a clean install. Delete everything in your addons folder and wtf folder, log in (this causes the client to recreate the blizzard folders in your addon folder), log out, reinstall carbonite from a clean download, log in, check to see if there's a problem. If not, log out, reinstall the rest of your addons, log in. If the problem reappears now, you're gonna have to do the addon dance - disable all but carb, re-enable half your addons, see if the problem is there, if not it's in the other half of the addons, so add half of those, and so on.

Update Carbonite, you are using an old version.
