Carbonite hasn't worked since the patch before Ruby Sanctum

I rely on Carbonite, and its hard to function without it now, oddly, lol. Even when its the ONLY addon it bugs out. I can't copy my error report or I would post it. Is anything being done to make carbonite useable again? Am I the only person having this issue? This is killin me.

and I have deleteed my WTF and cache folders, and turned off all addons except Carbonite. Nothing helps.

What does the ingame splash screen or the top of the options menu show as your installed version?

You can install one of the many error handling addons like !Swatter or Bugsack so that you can copy/paste the errors to here.

I'm not sure what OS you have, but here are some windows key shortcuts that may help you copy/paste the error:

Ctrl-A = Select/highlight all text
Ctrl-C = Copy all selected/highlighted text
Ctrl-V = Paste all previously copied text.

So my method of getting the error posted to WoWI using the above items (I use !Swatter as my error catcher since it's included as part of Auctioneer which I use as well):

1. Error window pops up if out of combat when the error occurs.
2. I left click in the error box to get my cursor there.
3. Ctrl-A to highlight everything in the error box
4. Ctrl-C to copy all that information to my Clipboard
5. Log into WoWI, create a post or edit a prior one. Then hit Ctrl-V to paste the full text right into your message.
6. Wait for suggestions, comments, or any feedback from others that very likely may know what is happening.

Either the file is missing, or it's corrupted. Try this: delete Carbonite from your addon folder, download a new copy, and install that. Does the problem persist?

That error message points to a borked install or a corrupted file from searching the Carb forums.

Best bet to fix it:

1.Completely delete all Carb folders in your Addon directory
2. Delete all instances of Carbonite.lua and Carbonite.lua.bak from the WTF folder and all subfolders.
3. Download and reinstall a fresh copy of Carbonite from here into your WoW addons folder.

If you do a search of the Addons folder, where is "MMOIcons.tga" located in? ie: what is the full path to it?

They are a part of the Carbonite zip file that is here on WoWI, and yes they must be in the proper place for it all to work.

What OS and program are you using to unzip Carbonite?

OS, Windows 7.
I'm opening/extracting, all that fun stuff with IZArc Archiver.
I'll try saving them to my comp then unzipping, the old fashioned way. maybe the archiver is missing something somehow..

My bet is they aren't fully extracting either.

I'm on Win7 as well and love using 7zip for all the compressed files. I haven't had an issue with it yet.
