Gathering Skills

I am currently using Carbonite and so far its going well, apart fromt the dungeon maps and a couple of confusing points around Gathering skills and minimaps.

I have imported the gathering locations for Herbalisim and Mining and i have setup the routes based on the nodes but when i fly over the top of them how do i get some kind of alert/notification that their is one there or do i have to look in each area?

Only reason i ask is because the normal UI does this.

I take it you have merged the maps together..?

If so you have to click the magnifying glass icon and track the herbs/mining nodes, if one is there it will show in carb as a flashing yellow circle at the node.
