Quest log and map issues

I just installed the new update 5.2.1 Alpha - 8 and now my quest log has dissapeared and i continue to get this LUA error..... please come up with a fix soon also when i zoom into the map and look at the dungeons it keeps them stacked and i cant see them seperated like before therefore making it impossible to look at the different dungeons , also when i open the map to see where the quests are they dont show up until i reload the ui also when i mouse over a part of the map in a zone that i am not in the map flickers really bad making it hard to see the other zones please look into a fix for these issues thanks

already fixed, but i'm curious... mostly because I want to know why this never showed up in my testing across various toons at various levels

What quests do you currently have? (or did have when this occured).... feel free to ignore if you want, i'm just trying to figure out how I missed that one spot in the conversion.

i was questing and still am questing in Townlong Steppes and i did update to the fix you made but the quest log is still not showing up and the map is still flickering really bad when i mouse over different zones in pandaria and other parts of wow the quests now show up in on the map and it says and shows quest complete but i cannot see the quest log for carbonite it statys minimized then when i try to open it , it just stays as a bar thats it no quests showing .... i got this error message when i updated to 5.2.1 Alpha - 9

Interesting, following that trace, one of your quests claimed it has objectives, but there were no objective information to be found. Do you have show objectives checked on your map?

thanks so much it all seems to work fine now no more blinking an my quest log is back i cant seem to find the quest objectives option on the map so i dont know if it is checked or not but all seems to be good now and i checked the in game interface and the boxes in the objectives option are not checked at all and there are 3 boxes ...thanks for all your help sorry if i was a pest lol keep up the good work this this addon i love it and would not play wow with out it thanks for keeping it going

Quests are not appearing in the miniquest log, and the main quest log shows up with numerous ? marks after any listed objectives. Only seems to happen with my human lock 90 (Prella@WrA)

I have a temporary fix that may work until Rythal has the time to get to this. Pull your cache and wtf folder and restart wow. I ended up doing this and adding just Carbonite to my add on folder and all Carbonite related bugs stopped. Just a suggestion here.

You probably just need to delete the Carbonite.lua and Carbonite.lua.bak files from the WTF folder to essentially "hard reset" Carbonites settings.

Yeah... sorry for not having a new alpha up with the 2 bug fixes, I got over eager and started tearing apart the guide portion and now trying to fix the bugs that came from that...

guide icons are now seperated into seperate files per category and plain english so it's easy to fix locations that are in the wrong spot, or add missing ones for anyone.

new format is [areaID] = "faction,x_pos,y_pos"

The problem I was having went away when I reduced the number of quests in my log to under 20...

A comment by kaiden at http://www.wowinterface.com/download....html#comments correctly indicates that it is an interaction with the Grail Addon that is causing the quest watch to disappear. Hope this helps (be careful, enabling Wholly causes Grail to be enabled also as Grail is one of Wholly's dependencies). Once I disabled Grail, and reLoaded the GUI, the quest watch reappeared.

I have the same problem... once I get over 20 quests the mini quest log stops working. As soon as I abandon enough quests to get me back to 20, it starts working again.
