Cooldown bar

The cooldown bar, wich I guess is a part of the hud, sometimes moves above my dots on the target. Wich makes it impossible to see what dots I have on target, and how much time left.

Is this something I can fix easilly?

This occurs when there are too many icons in the cooldown bar. Technically, it's a bug I haven't been able to figure out, but all the same... that's the root cause. It happens most to Death Knights who see all of their spells hit the cooldown bar when all of their runes are on cooldown.

You can get around that problem using the command '/nui hud cdmin {n}' which sets the minimum cooldown time needed on a spell, in seconds, before the spell will show up on the cooldown bar. The default is 2 seconds: /nui hud cdmin 2

Setting that to a value slightly larger than the cooldown time on your runes will prevent all of the extra spells from showing up when the only reason they are there is because of your rune cooldown.

Are you running the current development version? If not, you need nUI+ 5.03.06 Development or later to be able to use that command.

He's probably at work .. he's very quick on this sort of thing and he has to manually do the confirmation so when he next checks the forums I am sure he will do it.

The newsletter join confirmation is automatically mailed out as soon as you submit your request. It should be mailed to you either from [email protected] or [email protected] -- I'm not sure which... so make sure they are in your white-list and also check your spam/junk mail folder to see if it got routed there.

As soon as you click the confirmation link in that e-mail, a second e-mail "Welcome to the nUI+ Newsletter" will be e-mailed to you automatically, as well, and that's the one that contains the instructions on how to access the download area for nUI+

Will setting it to /nui hud cdmin 3 stop the bar from doing this for the hunter black arrow/trap cooldown bar? Normally the cooldown bar covering up the timer stuff on top of it doesn't bother me, but we've started doing a full clear of Naxx on Saturdays... after about 4 hours I'm ready to cuss that cooldown bar somethin' fierce lol.

Yes... it probably will... just increase the cdmin until it makes the traps stop showing up on the CD bar.

Did some testing while I was on the PTR... works great!!!

Hrm... works on the PTR, but I can't get it to work on the live server. Same version of nUI (latest Dev) and everything. Not sure what I'm missing

Timers might be different between the two... maybe try making the cdmin a bit higher value on the live realm?

First I put it on 3, then tried 4. Will try 5 next!
