How to make party member auto attack my target?

Just wondering if there is a way to make a party member auto attack my target. The reason I need it is I'm playing with someone who is at work and they have to constantly leave the computer to serve someone so I want them to attack the guy that I am instead of just standing there like an idiot and watching me die

Is there a macro or addon or something?

No, that would be impossible. You can't force another player to do anything... Other than maybe going into a rant on the trade channel...

Even if you got the other guy to install the addon, it won't be able to perform any actions.

Yup. That would be "botting". Botting is BAD! Don't do it!

Multi Boxing addons are the only way. But.. You must own both accounts to be within the ToS and/or EULA.

At the moment, no one has said specifically that Multi Boxing is against the ToS or EULA. It can fall into a gray or black area from everything I've ever read depending on the way you multibox though.

I would take a look at the primary website for a better insight and maybe ideas though.

The only thing an addon is capable of doing independent of the local user's input is send messages through chat or perform emotes, and what I mean by "local user" is the player using the computer the addon is installed on.

That there is 100000000% against Blizzards rules. Any program or mechanical device that presses the key for you or simulates key presses is a NO go. Now there are addon's out there that use private messages to preform action this = FULL OF WIN.

It is the way i quad boxed for 2 years. There were a ton of times that i was reported or had a ticket made against me. I had 1 runin with a GM that was clearly unamused with my quadboxing.

I was thinking the same thing when I viewed the video. As I mentioned in a previous post, this is (maybe) one step away from botting. And botting is all kinds of wrong.

Just play the game. When Cataclysm comes out, things will be a lot easier for you without cheating.

Well well....

We got a situation..my point was most the last one
of this alternative.

1. You are in big need of help to make quest!

2. Your game mate like the w.o.w and have not
much time to play it and his work allow him
to play at work because it's some dead
time between the jobs!

3 Your being abuse...because your game "friend"
wants a free ride on the leveling part!
And play on an other computer at the same time,
or watching tv.

If the answer is 1 or 2 my suggestion on
multiboxing is more suitable

If the answer is 3
( you know..people pay others )
( real money to level them )
If this is the case, make sure it's worth it!!

Didn't know it was against the ruls.
I been seeing a lot of it for a wile.

for herbs and stones. lol !!!!

I run a cross a two guard on the open field in outlands
a few days a go and they fart at me and i was dead.

And when i look at there name tags the got tree
numbers and an M after it.Hmmm..what does an M stand for!?

If it was the last boss in a cave in a 40 man place
i understand it....but that was insane above all.

If i ppl find a fun in spend 2-3 hours just to kill a boss
and then fight about the 3-4 useful stuff that the boss dropt
fine with me...but let that be in a dungeon not in the open!

That's why ppl build and use cheats!!!!!

This was possible early on in the game with an early version of RDX, you could lock someone's target or automatically assign it to lock onto a target given a certain parameter, imagine how amazing it was in BWL (for that matter, imagine how awesome that would be now. <_<).

Apparently Blizzard is part of the Military Industrial Complex and if you've got enough money for multiple accounts, you can do pretty much as you please.

I remember when I first began playing WoW... use to see people multiboxing 4 to 5 toons of the same class (which makes NO fricken sense to me whatsoever) and each toon would move in tandem, casting the same spells at the exact same time. Thinking about it now though, I haven't seen this type of thing in quite awhile.

Now in EverQuest it was very natural to see people 3box or 4box, but they were smarter about it. One healer, one tank, and one or more dps. I have 3 (nonactive) EQ accounts, but could ever only manage to run two instances of EQ on my old pc. My daughter would sometimes group with me and heal or dps from her computer.. now that was fun!

Just feel lucky that you didn't have to endure it. The name was a misnomer, since actually finding quests in the first place was difficult. Actually doing them was harder.

You were probably looking at their HP and it popped something like 124m. The "m" is a metric multiplier, meaning "times one million". So 124m should be read as 124000000. For future reference, if you see a "k" in that spot, multiply the number by one thousand.

That's why Blizzard made targetting and spellcasting protected functions in patch 2.0. Back then, as long as the code was run by a hardware event, you could do almost anything to take control of another player's character.

whenever someone explain the "situation" because ,( hmm ) it's shorter than,
