nUI for Vanilla WoW 1.12.1

I am playing on a private server for WoW right now that is at version 1.12.1, will nUI work with it or is there any way that I could get it to work with 1.12.1? I really, really loved nUI+ when I was playing BC and WoTLK


edit: I tried it out anyways, nUI5 does not work with 1.12.1, what modifications could be done to make it work?
