Olympic pet??

Anyone know or seen if there a pet for these 2 week?? I got a couple of the dragons last time around. Id love to work on a new one.

This event is only the Winter Olympics, last time the pets were for the world Olympic Games.

Would be nice though!

Last time was the Summer games. Never heard of a world Olympic Games. I would surmise that if there was nothing on the forums yet, bliz not doing anything.

There is no such thing as "World" Olympic games.

There is Summer and Winter. Each one happens every 4 years. They are offset so every two years there is an Olympic event.

ANY country is allowed to enter either of the Olympic Games.

The Winter games though usually attract less countries due to the fact a lot do not have the proper training facilities (or the right weather conditions) but that does not stop some countries from trying. Take the Jamaican Bobsled team ... not a flake of snow in Jamaica but they have a SMALL team none the less.

I saw that ad posted somewhere else .. pretty funny. I assume that the newspaper needed a mascot picture and Googled it and stole a mocked up picture.

Yeah, pretty amusing. Especially since now that this newspaper messed up, it's getting mass press, BBC news etc.

Anyways on topic though I do think it is very lame to give out a Summer Olympic pet and not a Winter Olympics one. Considering though that for the summer pet US and EU servers were given 1 pet each and on the Chinese servers there were about 4 different pets I think it was more of a promotional gift to entice new players to the Chinese servers I am thinking.
