I don't know if this is the right place to put this, if its wrong please let me know, and I'm sorry!!

I was playing the game the other day, and a thought comes to my head!! Currently I have a main character that is a 30th level Rogue that uses a bow.

Wouldn't it be cool, if there was a profession out there that could make bows, crossbows, arrows, and bolts??

If there is such a profession that does this, I am not sure

Unfortunately there is no fletching profession although engineers can make bullets and trade them for arrows. thorium tipped very nice.

Something else that would be awesome is if there was a staff and wand profession. If there already is, i apoligize

Wands can be made with enchanting.

The problem with your ideas is bows, crossbows, staffs, etc could all be made, but they would need wood. A gathering profession such as "Woodcutting" or similar would be needed then, and the complexity of it (trees randomly spawning every 5 minutes?) would just mean it couldn't work.

How about this: after "class" category in social (who), another category of "profession' ..so we can find Alchemists and Enchanters, when our known Guildies are not playing?

Lord of the Rings: Online did it too. Still don't think it could work in WoW though

Low level wands are made by enchanters.

Only non-magic ranged are guns made by Engineers who can also make bullets. For the most part though, the cost of getting the engineer bullet vs the bullets/arrows you can vendor buy is typically greater than their worth IMO.

Rogues should actually use throwing knives if memory servers, there are serveral out there which stats which are designed for rogues though I can't remember if they have them at that level.

I presume you're using a bow to gain the extra stats available from it?
