Hi i was wondering ive seen lots of addons for team speak and Vent that tells you who's talking, is there a addon that works for new chat system that shows who's talking,if not is it possible to make one that pops up a small window showing persons name thats talking?

The standard WOW UI has this feature.
It should show up on your screen.
If it doesn't, you should see if a mod is causing it to hide.

oh cool thanks any idea how i could find the addon thats doing it?

Well, I'm not saying it is necessarily an addon causing the problem;
however, if it is, (and to find out if it is) you should disable all your
addons before logging in, then check to see if it shows up. If so, then
you should enable your addons one-by-one or in small groups to see
which one is the culprit. If not, then there might be another problem,
which could be your WTF files, or something wrong in your WOW files.
If that is the case, you should move your WTF files out of your wow
folder and start fresh to see if it shows up then.

I'll see if I can get some time to take an SS of what it should look like.
Keep in mind, the box only shows up when you mouse over it or when
someone is talking, and it might only show up when you mouse over it
if you are in a chat channel (can't remember right off.)

It is an icon that is attached to your Unit Frame. If you use default unit frames, you'll see it. If you use a unit frame mod, they need to have support for it, I believe. PitBull added in a voice chat icon module already.

I use pitbull. The icon shows up on the unitframe, but I also still have the movable frame with a name in it.
Not sure if this is intended or not, but I like having both.
