Resolution 5760x1080

Hello,

first sry for my bad english. It is possible to play with nUI in the resolution of 5760x1080 i tryed du scale it in th nui.lua then the whole ui was out and with auto scale the nUI is only streched to 5760 and don't look nice. It is possible pls give me a hint.

I presume you're playing in a multi-monitor setup?

It is "possible" but requires some tweaks. If you search the forums for "multple displays" or "multiple monitors" (I can't recall which) I think you'll find some posts on the subject.

5760x1080 is a triple monitor setup... sounds like an eyefinity card.. might look here:

Hey there! I am having trouble getting nUI to work at this resolution as well. I've followed the instructions to adjust the scale, as well as the suggestions in the links above, but it seems everytime I edit the .lua files, nUI breaks. All I get is the nUI background artwork centered on the middle screen, and the default blizzard UI.

I'm hoping its just something simple I am missing, I am not very well versed in addon coding. Any idears? I really miss nUI!

Make sure you are using a plain text editor to edit the .lua files -- notepad or any other basic ASCII editor will work. You cannot use programs like Word and such to edit the files because they also store embedded formatting data that will break the file.

I've got it working now. I was copy/pasting text from the forum posts which seems to not work. When I typed it all in fresh, it worked like a charm. Only thing I needed to edit was the SavedVariables file...something silly as I expected.
