Question Quick question

I have a question and i cant post in the FAQ section on the wow interface forum so im going to ask here... i realize disabling parts of nUi isnt really an option but i was wondering if there was a way to disable the bars above the map including the form bar (im thinking it would be a bar thing rather than a change in the whole mod maybe?) i just dont need that many bars and i would rather have more open screen than bars of uselessness in my case... anyways thanks in advance for any responses

The you could remove the extra bars, but the form bar, the pet bar and the main action bar you cannot remove. The form bar is also used for vehicles and special quests/events. Likewise, the pet bar is often used for things other than pets and the main action bar is required for a great deal of internal functionality. As for the rest, if you want to remove them, you can by editing [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > nUI_Layout_Default_Dashboard.lua ] by just removing or commenting out the extra bars.

There are side effects of doing that however, and that's the fact that many bars are used as anchors for other elements of the UI. So when you remove the bar, you remove the anchor and then the layout engine freaks out and throws errors. So you may end up having to edit other parts of the layout to fix those, as well.

It's not a trivial undertaking.
