Kewl... so you haven't seen any problems with the pet bar in nUI6? That's awesome (and the goal)

One bug I have spotted is that the pet bar is still being displayed during possession even though the main bar does possession, too. Gotta fix that.

I haven't looked to see what you did to fix it in nUI 6 but I just added PetActionBarFrame to my temp movers addon and it works every time.

It will suffice until you have more of the fancy stuff in version 6. It's fine for testing but I just can't play using it in its current state.

I'll try and code it to work as a more flexible mover plugin for nUI whereby people can temporarily add frames they wish nUI to track and move until they're added to nUI proper. It's just a simple one at the moment and not remotely user friendly

Here's a screenshot showing the non working pet bar holder and the working pet bar holder on the same screen.

Afraid to say but I do notice the bar not appearing when I get into combat before dismounting or summoning a pet tho.

Well, there is a bar, but it's button less..

No screenshot at the moment, could try to get one later..

Hey Scott,

I just noticed this today too on my mage after I setup my PVP spec for frost. The odd thing I discovered is when I do a /logout the bar appears during the 20 second countdown. I can then cancel the countdown to logout and the pet bar is fine, until it either dies or I mount or whatever.

Still having that same issue, especially on my druid, when I bring on the treants..

Just out of curiousity, are you still working on current version of nUI? or totally working on getting 6, passed alpha?

I am not intending to fix this in nUI5 as it pretty much requires a rewrite of the bar system to do it. It is being fixed in nUI6 though I am having a taint issue at the moment in nUi6's pet bar, too... I'm still working on getting that fixed.

Would you by chance have any recommendations on a add-on that could replace that until nUI6?
I really do not want to disable nUI, since it is my main add-on.
My only roll is a Warlock and I rely on my pets.

You could give nUI6 itself a try... it should be functional enough for a lock. You would just need to add a buff mod to it to be fairly complete until I get the auras working correctly in it.

Ok I think I will.
It has been tempting to test.

Ok, thanks for the reply, will patiently await nui6...

In the meantime I have set my pet so when they come in, to attach the target..and scripted a macro to set focus for them.

the only other issue, when logging in to game for the first time of the day, I have to do a console refresh before I can go in to any form on my druid..

will start to play with nui6 when doing my dailys..

Okay, I doubt this will work while in combat but it definitely works out of combat

Create a macro and call it something like Special Bars Show etc

Then add the following code into its macro text box all in one line. Whenever you dismount or zone in etc that generally makes your special bar containing stance and pet bars then press this button before fighting and your bar should appear. I just tested this on my mage and it worked as I expected.

Code:
/script nUI_SpecialBars:Show()

Also, I suspect this is more than a nUI problem as my fiance has stopped using nUI as it's 'not for him' and whenever he dismounts from a vehicle in a PvP zone his action bar disappears and he has to do a reloading of the UI or a relog for it to work again.

Thank you so much. Just started running arena's with my mage as frost and had to try to fit a /nui rl in before we started. Also in BG's ended up never taking the time to do the reload and just lived without the bar (losing an important pet ability to freeze opponents). Macro works like a charm to bring the bar back up.
