TicTacToeFrame?

Something that's been eluding me for some time now... in the FrameXML folder there is a TicTacToeFrame.lua and TicTacToeFrame.xml. It's been there for a few years already apparently.

There is supposed to be a TicTacToeFrame parented to the MinigameFrame, but neither of those frames actually exist ingame (printing returns nil). Their associated functions don't exist either, but 'GetMinigameState()' does.

Does anyone know what this is for, and if it has ever been/will ever be implemented?

TicTacToeFrame and MinigameFrame don't exist in-game because those files don't get loaded; see FrameXML.toc.

I believe Blizzard planned to add in-game minigames, but never got around to it. As for whether they will ever get around to it, I doubt anyone knows, even Blizzard.

Shame. I wouldn't mind a game within a game

I always wished they'd have made the Plants vs Zombies thing playable at any time, rather than just for those quests. Oh well!
