Unable to right click on portrait in instances...

Was running a friend through Stockades and noticed this. Haven't tested in other instances, but inside the instance I attempt to right click and hear the click sound, but no menu. Outside the instance it works fine.

Yes, i have the same issue. Cannot right click in instances since 3,1. I tested about 6 of them. Here is a thread on WoW forum, which reports the bug but does not give the solution.

Hmmm... based on that, it sounds like they have changed something in the mechanism for how the right-click menu works. I'll do some digging and see if I can come up with what changed.

Do you guys have the build in voice chat turned on ? Seem to remember that used to give problems way way back with right clicking portraits..

This is a bug introduced in WoW Patch 3.1 that is affecting all unit frame mods including nUI. I wasn't aware of the issue until last night. It does appear there's a workaround for it but I haven't found it yet. I'm going to try and track it down when I get home from work tonight.

I'd like to ask for a couple of tests...

1) Can you disable ALL mods except nUI and enter the instance and right click?

2) If you still cannot right click, can you try disabling the built in voice-chat feature, reload and then try a right click again.

Let me know the outcome?

There's a thread on the WoW forums that's reporting that Cartographer is the cause of this bug... I'm curious if the people having this experience are using Cartographer? Does the fix mentioned here take care of it?

17. Re: No right click menu in instances? 04/20/2009 02:52:01 PM EDTSo I went one at a time and it turns out it is Cartographer, not the whole thing but there is some sub deals of Cartographer Instance loot Instance map and Instance notes those have to be off and right click works again..

How do we tell the people that make the mod about it?

Are you running Cartographer? I ran into the same problem. I removed Cartographer_InstanceLoot, Cartographer_InstanceMaps, and Cartographer_InstanceNotes and the problem went away.

it took me sometimes to find a solution today. It seems it is a issue between quest helper and cartographer. Anyway, just click Map (m) in the instance and you should be able to right click. It is not a fix but at least you can use the features and use Carto and QH. I am sure they will fix this in the coming days. I asked around and it has nothing to do with nUi.

hello

i have newest nui+ version and de 3d portraits are enabled but in the interfacei dont see my characters portrait or portrait of target.
whats the problem here. pls help

This seems to be a new(ish) bug that's cropped up. I've got to do one more fix for the aura system in nUI5, I'll try to address this at the same time.
