Another chat issue

Hello. I really have tried to figure this out myself and read alot of post and cant seem to get it right. I have disabled all add ons and the such with no success. My basic issue is the Chat tab glows which you may see and that like most when I try to move it and gets normal size and have to reload to squeeze it back. I have no fancy addon for chat but I have what is called chatbar which is old but I like it; however, same issues even when I remove that. So what happens is as you can in I am typing over scrolled text and I cant figure out how to fix this small problem lol. So for example where it says LF 1 tank 3 heals on the top line; if I was to start typing something to someone it would be right over top of that and look like alphabet soup. I would appreciate any help you can give me when you get a chance. This is low priority and thanks in advance.

I assume you are on a server/account with the 3.3.5 patch ? In which case did you download the 5.06.26 update ? I think that was the one that fixed the chat edit box issue.

As to your chat bar addon it may be broken so you may not be able to use it until someone makes a patch for it or the creator fixes it.

Yes US LB. New version of NUI+ installed today. I had deleted the add on altogether and loaded WoW with the same result.

It looks to me like you do not have nUI 5.06.26 installed... that looks like one of the earlier versions because the last couple of versions have a solid black background on the chat edit box. If you scroll back the chat text, does it say "nUI 5.06.26 is installed" or does it report a different version?

It says NUI+ 5.06.26 (Plus)

Also my background is an NUI skin.

Well... the chat tab glowing is a new feature of the new chat frames. That's not a bug. The transparent background has me confused though because nUI's chat frame does not have a transparent background on the chat edit box.

By any chance, do you have Prat, Chatter or any other chat mods installed?

I am using Prat, and when in a "Conversation" tab, the text overlaps with the latest version of nui+
