New Featured Project

First of all, I’d like to say congratulations and thank you to Haavok and Faatal (known on WoWI as carboniteaddon) for Carbonite. They are now Featured Artists on the site, with their own download category and forums. I’m also very pleased to be able to say that WoWI has become the official and exclusive home for Carbonite with their latest version (3.00)! They will be phasing out their old site as they finish getting everything set up on WoWI.

Second, I hope everyone enjoyed our April Fools prank. Yes, the In-Game AddOn Store was a joke. Sorry, but it was just too tasty to pass up.

I detected the sharp scent of April Fool's joke on the "AddOns Store". Then again, it helps that I am veteran of this site and know that the staff likes to pull pranks like this on April 1. Plus I have to wade through all the various AFj "stories" on Slashdot to get to the real stuff. I guess I am just a jaded geek now.

Also congrats to the Carbonite crew for becoming a Featured Project and moving over to WoWI, Now don't make yourselves scarce around the forums

Speaking of April's Fools jokes did anyone see the other Blizz ones for WoW (Dance Battle System), Diablo 3 (The Archivist) and Starcraft 2 (The Terra-tron) as well as all the other ones like the Reverse YouTube and the new Xbox 360 game (Alpine Legend hehe).
