Outside the game, delete or rename your /<toon>/SavedVariables/carbonite.lua and /<toon>/SavedVariables/carbonite.lua.bak files. Start the game. Your carbonite settings will reset to the defaults. Is the problem still there?

Try this: Completely exit WoW, then go to your "Path to your WoW folder\WTF\Account\ACCOUNT NAME\SavedVariables\" folder and delete the "Carbonite.lua" and "Carbonite.lua.bak" files. BE AWARE that this will completely reset Carbonite and when you restart WoW Carbonite will look and act as if it has just been installed.

By-the-way, what version of Carbonite are you using?
