Chat Mods

They don't seem to be working with the new chat features. Any body plan to implement them? Prat and Chatter are not working, and I would assume all the others weren't. I'm just curious on how these will be changed/affected.

The only new feature really is the IM window thing. Everything else was already implemented in Prat.

Well, more specifically the "right-click to new tab" feature. The functionality existed in Prat and in the standard chat interface before, you just had to click more to get it.

I'm using Chatter though, and I have reports that Prat ain't working either. You revert it back to 'classic style' and it still looks like the default chat frame with the buttons on the left, and such.

I'm going to post on the Chatter site on Curse as well, I just thought I would bring the attention out I guess :P See if anyone else is having issues.

The main problem with prat is the new editbox availability on every frame which didn't happen before. here's the error I am seeing.. posting on Prats page as well.

I really hope the author of Prat can finagle a way to make the chat box look and behave the way it did pre-patch, because I'm getting all sorts of funky behaviours now.

I actually see an update for Chatter, I'll see if it works. If it indeed does, I will oost.

You can switch it to "Classic" to remove the permanent edit box. Although, yeah I really need a new chat addon too

As was mentioned above, switching it to Classic doesn't do anything, really. It's still funky.

I'm not seeing update for Prat aside from the one from this morning, which is the one that's acting weird.

Just off topic here Ferous if the chatter page you are referring to is on wowace.com then you don't really need to post on Curse as well.

Wowace & Curseforge are Curse's development backbone. Authors work on their beta versions on ace/curseforge then tag an addon for release and it automatically gets pushed out to Curse.

If you open a ticket on the Wowace/curseforge site the author will still see it despite it not being on Curse.
