That's a rather weak graphics card unfortunately. It's always best to look up some reviews before buying.

Make sure your drivers are up to date though, that can change a lot.

I did some looking around, You should be able to change the amount of ram that the card will use. From what i was able to find the max you can have it use will be 1 gig, which is more then enough for wow.

just a quick thought, careful gaming too much on the HP pavillion series laptops. They have a tendancy to overheat. I had a Pavillion DV7 for quite a while and it would overheat pretty frequently even when using a cooling pad with a pair of 120mm fans.

Hi.

I don't really think that HP laptops are made for gaming at all, i guess this why you can't use ultra graphics.

And i don't think you got any special things to make the computer less cooler, since it's a laptop, i would recommand get an real PC, with a case, if you don't want things to overheat.

Too hot = no computer feel good!

Chiming in to confirm that HP laptops do overheat a lot. My old Compaq Presario could barely stand more than an hour of gaming even when brand new without overheating. By comparison my 2+ years old Vaio stays cool even after hours of gaming. My suggestion is to invest in a good cooling pad

Check mmo-champion for their PC builds.

-WoW is said to be 'primarily process based', so I would personally prefer looking for a processor with a higher clock speed, paired with a powerful graphics card. (I favor Nvidia's GTX lineup)
