missing from a paladins point of vieuw (raiding 25 man)

I used to have a lot of addons but i was sick of updating em everytime and stuff...

i was looking for 1 addon to own all addons. something simple that has everything i need and looks nice, nUI is such an addon

for raiding it has pretty much what i need

-raidframes + their warnings and infos

-buffs (bit messy and wide , just icons and time with hoverover tooltip would be nice)
-propper action bars (with handy "bind key to" option)

-player , target , targetoftarget display + debuffs

-recount+omen (nice pached over eachother with switch option)

atm i'm using a few extra things wich could maybe be worked in nUI

-Palypower (the feared pally buffs savior, atm its just looking ugly getting overlapped by the buffs, sized down to get out of my way)

-Zomgbuffs (when i go holy and i raid i have to keep beacon or other "hands of ..." tricks on people. zomgbuffs manages that for me. its not like zomgbuffs looks ugly u can make it blend in easy. maybe include that somewhere in the download and give it a place)

-last but not least a bossmod but this shouldn't be incorporated they are all selfexplanatory u just download one that u like and position it on the screen.


some things have already been sugested.

- a propper option menu instead of a /commands-list (to increase the mobility/functionality, example. to let u disable useless options to improve ur FPS wich is a serious problem atm. I have state of the art computer with standart fresh install , no addons, i run at 50 fps steady in 25 man raids during high data processing moments. I turn nUI on , bam... 10-15 FPS. if we can personalize it more by reducing the date transfers. that would be awesome! :-)

furthermore keep up the good work i've like the addon a lot expect for these few minor things

You can replace nUI's default aura bars with aura buttons by downloading the "Aura Buttons" plugin from the "nUI: Unit Frame Panels" section at http://files.nUIaddon.com ... that should fix the one issue you raised in the first section.

You can also download the "Stats" plugin from the "nUI: Info Panel Plugins" section at http://files.nUIaddon.com and that will cause your Omen3 and Recount windows to auto switch between Omen in combat and Recount out of combat. There's also a "Dual Stats" plugin that displays both Omen and Recount side by side in the same info panel. Another option is to replace Omen3 and Recount with Skada which does the job of both of those addons and does not require a plugin.

The FPS issue is a known issue affecting some players (a lot of players) and is at the top of the list to be addressed in nUI6. Likewise, nUI6+ will be fully customizable via a GUI configuration system.

As you've already noted, nUI does not include a Boss mod functionality. However, it is compatible with all boss mods out there, so it is as you say as simple as installing the Boss mod you like and positioning it as you prefer and you're done. I do not intend to build boss mod functionality into nUI ever... no point really and it's well beyond what the design intention of nUI is.

PallyPower and Zomgbuffs are both things I'll have a look at.

PallyPower is a must have. Our guild requires all Paladins to have it.

I think the idea with nUI6 is that it will be easier to modify. This means a paladin player can make their own plugins that incorporate the extra addons they want.
