Minimap Shape

I want to make a request. I am one of those persons that loves to customize their user interface, but I also love and support Carbonite. I was wondering if there is a way to implement an option to change the shape of the carbonite minimap, for example a round minimap. Is this something that could possibly be made a reality?

It is practically impossible due to how the game handles graphics. The minimap frame uses a mask texture to make it a circle and the game has no way to mask hundreds of small frames, of which the Carb map is built, by a single mask texture.
