Colored Quest Blobs?

I was just wondering what happened to the old multi-colored quest blobs that used to overlay the map and highlight the quest areas. The tracking hud used to fade out and let you know you were in the right area. Now there is just the blizzard blob, which I find not as useful. Having the different colors for each quest was nice.
Is there something that I'm missing to turn it back on? Or is this feature just no longer working?

The quest database is an encrypted million character long string. While I can unencrypt it, it's a lot of work to do so

I can't add new quests without unencrypting it, so until I start work on redoing the quest portion, I did what I could to get the information from blizzard which is why it's just one color now, blizzards doesn't allow you to pick the color.

I deleted my wtf folder and redownloaded carb. its working fine now, the blobs are there.
