You sure you have DW8, DW MX is actually DW7.1 and DW8 is beyond that, I am currently using DW8 and the extension installed without a hitch and works great.

Hoping that next iteration will include a macro style key to do commenting.

one of the things I am working on. I am also adding api from the Beta, and trying to build a list of functions that must be securely hooked, so that I can color them differently from normal functions (to make it easier for you to see which functions might cause taint)

I removed it. I had not made any updates to it in about 3 patches, and had no immediate plans to do so. I will try to make something available, but for now I might recommend using one of the other ones like the pre-packaged Scite. This is what I use now, as Dreamweaver tends to be a little overkill at times.

Yes, you are right. I have installed latest Macromedia DreamWeaver CS4 is the best. It has some new features compare to old version. I think it is nice solution for you.
