nUI Minimap

I cant get it to appear in the middle of my GUI. Its back up in the corner again. I have gone to the interface>addons and checked the box that says "Managed by NUI" and also disabled the nUI_InfoPanel_Minimap on my addons list. What am I doing wrong? I have also updated to the latest nUI as well.

Can you post a screenshot please. Use the paperclip icon or the manage attachment options below the message entry box.

The reason I ask is because that happens for many reasons and seeing the rest of the screen will help us to discern which of those reasons are more likely.

It could be that it is a failed load of nUI due to either upgrading too soon ( you are on a 3.3.3 server and using 3.3.5 nUI version or vice versa or one of your other addons are having similar issues.

Your first test to see if it is an addon issue to is to first disable all addons except nUI itself. If it still is doing what you are describing but everything is as it should try the /nui minimap again to see if it toggles it back.

But as I asked first thing, a screenshot will help us big time.

What order did you do that in? If you had the nUI_InfoPanel_Minimap addon installed and enabled, then whatever you did with '/nui minimap' was ignored and overwritten by the plugin. After you removed the plugin, did you try using '/nui minimap' again to regain control of the minimap?

Do you have any other errors? (missing unit frames, missing bars, things where they don't belong, etc.)

The nUI_Infopanel_Minimap was already disabled prior to my toying with the nUI minimap. Yes, I did the /nui minimap command when I was done checking the 'Managed by nUI' box.

Oh, another thing. I dont have both the red buttons down at the bottom of the GUI. Only the one on the right that says guild chat appears as you can see in my screen shot. Whatever I select the button that works to display, is now displaying in the middle instead of my minimap. >.<

Exactly what I thought... this has nothing to do with the minimap or with nUI_InfoPanel_Minimap -- your nUI is broken.

Once you have done that please note that if you are on patch 3.3.5 you need to download my newest guildchat plugin which utilises the changes they introduced in 3.3.5. If you use my chat plugin disable it for now and if you use my whispers plugin download the new one too. Of course if you aren't on patch 3.3.5 yet then ignore all this drivel.

I believe the version is printed on the login screen.

However, in a nutshell... if you are on a US server, you are on 3.3.5 -- if you are on an EU server, you're on 3.3.3 -- I *think* Oceanic are on 3.3.5

Where do I download the newest guildchat and whisper plugins? I followed the instructions on the other post and when I installed it, it displayed correctly.

Actually I have the same issue, my character info is gone, the minimap popped back up in the right upper corner with all the buttons, and there's the world map in the middle thus making most buttons unpressable, I also tried deinstalling it and reinstalling it, but to no avail

Hmm, that error message stinks of either 3.3.3 using 5.06.22 and higher or 3.3.5 using 5.06.21 or lower.

Can you double check which patch your software/server is updated to and your nUI copy is.

Note also that several fixes were made over a few days to combat the new 3.3.5 changes so make sure you have the latest version if you have 3.3.5.
