Pitbull and DogTag help

As you can see in the raidframes infront of jio there's two dots which occurs when i add the nil in the truncate for some reason. Anyone know why they pop up like that?

The dogtag I'm using is [name:truncate(5, nil):color("FFFFFF")]

it only comes to random people and doesnt seem to have anything to do with the length of the name. :S

Replace 4 with how many you want to show. Doesn't make any sense, considering the nil gets rid of the ...
