Wow Map

I'm new to Carbonite so maybe a easy fix. The wow minimap is situated on top of the carbonite map and i want to get rid of the wow map. How do i do that?

Normally you want the minimap either in the Carb map or visible somewhere on screen, since it is the only way to see tracking dots (Herb, Ore).

When the minimap is around the player arrow in the Carb map, it should be mostly transparent except for the dots unless you changed the settings or another addon is changing it.

Some general info:

The Blizzard minimap is a special game generated graphic that cannot be duplicated by addons. Addons do not have access to certain things like tracking dots, which is why we put the minimap by default into the Carbonite map, so you don't have to have two separate maps on the screen yet still have tracking dots.

The minimap is inside the Carbonite map at the location of your player arrow or docked in the top left corner if it does not have room to draw it on the map. The minimap buttons are moved to a Carbonite window on the right side of the screen. The button window can be moved by left clicking and dragging the title area. Right clicking the title area shows a menu, which includes a scale slider.

If you don't like it, it can be turned off by right clicking a non icon area of map, selecting "Options" and unchecking "Move Minimap into Carbonite map (reload required)" in the options window. Click on "Reload" when asked or Log out and back in and it will be changed.

There are also many ways to customize how the minimap is drawn when inside the Carbonite map. Right click a non icon area of the map and left click "Minimap" or "Options" for various settings. You can change scale, corner, transparency, make full size, etc.

You can also set a keybinding to make the minimap full size inside the Carbonite map and there are options for that to happen automatically in instances or indoor areas.
