Library of castable class buffs?

I've been looking into AddOn development and I was wondering if there was a library that contains all of the castable buffs for each class. I've looked over files for a couple addons (Class Buttons, VuhDo) and it looks as if they hand-wrote up the list. That's fine if that's what it takes, but it seems like a lot of duplicate work for a lot of mods.
Somebody mentioned that LibPeriodicTable might have this info, but -- maybe it's because I'm an AddOn noob -- I couldn't figure out how to use it to pull up something like "Castable Buffs By Class".
Does such a list occur in reusable library form?

As an example, I'm talking stuff like:

Priest
"Prayer of Fortitude",
"Prayer of Shadow Protection",
"Prayer of Spirit",
"Inner Focus"

Druid
"Gift of the Wild",
"Mark of the Wild",
"Thorns"

i don't think libpt has that data.

there's a lib called libaurainfo that has all the auras (and their expected durations) but it isn't broken up by class.

I looked over it, but I don't think it's what I was looking for. It looks like it has all possible buffs and debuffs a person can have on them. I'm looking for player castable buffs like fort, int, kings. That sort of thing.
I guess a "filtered" list like that doesn't really exist, huh?
