I released LibToast-1.0 in July of 2011 without much (hell, any) fanfare or even API docs. At the same time, I'd written a control AddOn for users of other AddOns which used the lib, named it Toaster, yet somehow didn't manage to release it until April of this year. I am now releasing it
here on WoWInterface.
The basic premise behind Toaster is that LibToast-1.0 handles the creation, decoration, and other aspects of a Toast frame with its own default values which can then be overridden by users of Toaster. At present, Archy, SimpleSelfRebuffs, and Curse Raid Tracker 2 are the only AddOns I am aware of which use the library.
For AddOn authors interested in using the library for their AddOns, it currently resides on CurseForge (
link), at least until I finish writing the
API reference documentation.
I was going to include a screenshot, but the forums are being evil to me - I do, however, have one on the
Toaster project page.
EDIT: API reference documentation is finished (as much as it can be with the brain power I have at my disposal).
