Return the zone lvl feature

I noticed that ever since Cartographer's newest upgrade the Zone mob level feature has been turned nearly worthless. It only allows you to see levels of mobs in areas that you have discovered. Is there any plans of returning it back to the way it used to be?

Cartographer is a great program none the less, but the way this was done, it seems like it was almost done by mistake or it is a bug.
