Any change you have run an *.exe file from any of the downloads from this site.

If that is the case look here http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/p...ad.php?t=13868

perhaps changing folder attributes (i.e. read only) requires Admin rights?

i'm guessing you are talking about Vista here and i don't use Vista so maybe i should just stay out of it....

I'm on Vista, and I am admin. Every UI i use all looks the same, a cruddy jumbled mess that looks nothing like it should. Just got done trying ADUI which has been the worst of them all!

Edit: I'm even following word for word the instructions that comes with these things.

If you believe you got the virus from the incgamers updater, then please let them know over there so that they are aware.

If it's not a virus, your folder's not write protected, and you're running as admin and have all of the permissions correct....

Try moving your entire WoW directory out of the Program Files folder. Try C:\Games\World of Warcraft or something like that. If that doesn't work, then, I'm sorry to say but it may be user error. Or author error, as I haven't used those ui's before and don't know how they've worded their installation instructions. Try mine as a last resort - I know for a fact that it works when done correctly (my hubby uses it) and I take pride in my readme.
